Leroy Sane breaks silence over World Cup 2018 snub as Manchester City star is left out of Germany squad

Leroy Sane has broken his silence after being left out of Germany's World Cup star.
The PFA Young Player of the Year was the shock omission as Joachim Low named his 23-man squad for this summer's tournament.
Sane, who enjoyed an incredible season with Manchester City, played over an hour in the defeat to Austria but was left out as Marco Reus and Julian Brandt were included.

His omission is arguably the biggest shock of the 32 confirmed squads and among those to react were City teammate Kyle Walker.
The England defender posted: "When you find out @leroysane19 isn't going to the World Cup" on Instagram, alongside an image of himself spitting out water.

And among those to reply was Sane, who joked: "Well u're lucky that u don't have to play against me bro @kylewalker2."
Low explained his decision to leave out the 22-year-old, who scored 14 goals for City last season.
"In the end it was tight, both (Sane and Brandt) have great qualities, are fast and dribble," he said at a press conference, quoted by sport.de.

Germany boss Low
"Leroy has a huge talent and he'll be there again, and we'll have to work more with him again from September onwards. He did well against Austria; he went backwards, switched quickly.
"We had to decide; the squad must be balanced, we cannot take a player away from a defensive position and say we take an offensive (player).
"If something happens at the back, we need alternatives, so I had to make that hard decision."
